Eighty-five percent of all startups do not make it past their third year. In 2022, U.S. Venture Capital groups invested over $1.2 trillion in searching for a Unicorn "startup." Nationwide there were 4.4 million startups in 2019-2021 - they are now entering their third year.

Donna Hover-Ojeda, Ph.D., Co-Founder, and angel investor, noticed eighty-seven percent of startups still need to make it past their third year. “During COVID, we lost so many existing businesses. We thought they were strong enough…if we just helped them with tools and our business HACKS, they would not have to close their doors.” Just giving them money is not enough. Tom Nixon, Co-Founder and author of “Do Less, Sell More,” states, “Business is not meant to be played alone.” We have to learn how to collaborate to survive.

Mighty Underdogs is a group of business owners and professionals who have been in business for over 30 years. We have the tools, networks, and desire to help more small businesses succeed. We donate our time, tools, and talent to those still in the startup phase of their business journey. After the startup funds runout - where do you go?

Our services are designed for those who do not have time to work on their company, don't know what they don't know, raise a family, are family-owned, most work hard - not brilliant, and their processes need adjusting from startup to a small business. They have busy lives, young children, and have never run a small business. They never had employees or 1099 workers. They have yet to be trained to lead people, resolve conflict, or create conflict so their services can solve the problem.
